The Challenge
Synthesising diverse stakeholder visions and needs to connect a regional ecosystem
Aligning the vision, expectations and requirements of multiple Nordic Tourism organisations to create a validated proof-of-concept for a B2B tourism ecosystem platform that resonated and gained buy-in from stakeholders across the region.
Approach
Our approach in leading the product development in the early-stage of the project involved conducting comprehensive research to learn about the domain from the demand-side (Nordic travel and tourism), aligning mindsets and visions of its key country stakeholders, assimilating similarities and differences in their visions and aspirational outcomes, and synthesising these inputs to shape the project's initial direction by testing prototypes with the the platform’s future users. In the process, Fabric helped secure the participation of a world class design partner to build out, user test, and deliver a validated proof-of-concept that articulated and delivered on needs of key user segments in the region. The proof-of-concept included behavior design interventions built in to personalise content consumption and create early user investment into seeding the core of the product.
Outcomes
The project successfully developed a proof-of-concept for the platform, in the form of an interactive prototype that provided initial alignment on vision and buy-in between the key stakeholder organisation; it increased all-round stakeholder ownership in a concrete direction for taking the initiative forward.
